The Magic of Cavalia, A Dream of Freedom | Singapore
< Cavalia - A magical encounter between human and horse >
Last Tuesday, thanks to Love 972 FM, my brother and I got complimentary tickets to catch Cavalia at Bayfront which was one amazing show that I would personally recommend especially if you love horses! Unlike traditional circus where the stunt performers are the stars, Cavalia brings the spotlight to the 50 horses as they take the show to a whole new level.
This huge white tentage already got me excited even before entering!
This is part of the opening performance (we weren't supposed to take pictures but seriously, I think everyone got too excited and forgot about it, as I see alot of people around me snapping away too lol)
我的白马王子在哪里?
They were really fast~ (we were unable to take any more pictures as some of the audience got caught by the staff haha)
Selfie with my bro :)
One day, I'll find my 白马王子~ ♡
Candid ootd shot of Jeffrey~
As we walked out of the area, I caught this breathtaking view of the city skyline~ Very pretty right??
Overall, I'm quite fascinated by the interaction between the performers and horses as it clearly displays the strong fundamental relationship and intense bond that they have developed over time, leading to the creation of such a beautiful performance that is really beyond my imagination. And for that, I'm giving Cavalia a big thumbs up!! Thank you for the wonderful show :)
The Singapore show has already ended on 5th Oct, so for those who have missed it, I shall share with you a short clip I found on Youtube! The stage settings is not entirely the same but you'll still get the gist of the show! Enjoyyy :)

Restaurant-hop: Crystal Jade Korean Ginseng Chicken & BBQ
Since growing up from primary all the way till university, there are bound to be friends whom we will grow closer, while the rest apart. Although it's not easy to gather a group of friends together all the time, I'm actually very thankful and glad that my poly girlfriends are always making effort to organize monthly gatherings to catch up with one another. For September, as the girls agreed to have korean food, Charmaine suggested dining at Crystal Jade Korean Ginseng Chicken & BBQ! It was my first time there and to be honest, I'm not a big fan of BBQ but I actually do quite enjoy the meal that day! Well, also because Char & Mel was feeding me with soo much love, so it tasted even better haha :D
Our average spending was around $25-30, which is kind of the usual BBQ price range. If you're looking for more comfortable seatings and environment, you can give this a try! But do remember to call in for reservations as they can get pretty packed especially during the weekends! We didn't take much photos that day, but definitely had a great chat as we started planning for Shux's gatecrashing/wedding in Nov! Omg it's in fact less than a month! Soo excited, can't wait~ :D

Hello October :)
Ahh, can't believe September has ended! Felt like I just had my Taiwan trip only (which was in Aug actually) and just like that, another month of my break is over~ Aww. Looking back at my calendar, after all the good food hunting and catching up with different friends in July & Aug, Sept was more of a "toned down" month for me because like ya know, it can't last when my "output" is more than my "input" (financially) hahaha~
So hello October, I welcome you as I embark on a new journey in my career path! Have officially started work doing event sales and so far so good, still adapting and looking forward to my breakthroughs along the way! I'm very thankful for what I've learnt from my previous job that shaped me into who I am today. Becoming an individual who is now much more confident (coming from someone with a very low self esteem, I'd say that's a pretty big deal for me), I do hope to be able to bring that confidence with me anywhere and everywhere I go in the future!

Date night with the race cars ;)
Hello! Oops, this post was supposed to come earlier but I was too caught up... playing my Sims 3 hahaha =x Well, because of the hype of the new Sims 4, it got me excited again so I'm having a good time with my sims before I officially start work next week! :D
So on the first day of F1 week, Aud had complimentary tix which allowed us to have a sneak peek of how the SingaporeGP will be run on the actual race days. There isn't much to do there, except queuing pretty long to get our airbrush tattoo and taking photos... until we missed the race track tour -.- But nvm as I was saying to console ourselves... It's just our normal road with more lighting and fences only la hor?? =x Only Gate 1 was opened for us, so here are the photos!
Insane queue for these, but lucky we know how to entertain ourselves ;)
The end result! Niceee right? We were laughing so hard because it's just soo gay to do the same one but seriously, it's the nicest one among all! Lol~
Aud's hot wheel ;)
And mine! :D
So that's pretty much it! I've never been to the Singapore Grand Prix before, so it was nice to have some mini involvement and experience the F1 season, but of course without the main highlight which is the race car sound battles haha! Maybe next time? :)

The Refresh Button;
I think by now, all of us would've known that as we grow older, as we reach a certain stage in life, we will gradually forget those heartaches we used to feel, we will slowly realize that time actually does heal our wounds, and eventually we will just forget that someone who used to matter so, so much.
Maybe one day you'll accidentally come across his/her name while you're scrolling your phone contacts or Facebook newsfeed; maybe you'll even bump into him/her on the streets when you least expect to; yet nothing that bad would actually happen to you.
You'll see that your world will not come crashing down, and that you won't feel the heartburn you used to feel anymore. Of course, there might still be a few knots deep inside your heart, but it doesn't really matter as long as you continue smiling. Because with that smile, you know you are moving on and accepting a much better life for yourself.
You should be thankful it wasn't that someone, have a little faith that those pain were meant for something better. No doubt we all deserve to be treated the right way, but before that you have to first treat yourself right. Remember, there's only one you in this big big world, and if you don't start loving yourself, no one else would.
That's a reminder for you and me.
Hit the refresh button. Start anew. There is just so much more to life :)
