Hello! It's been awhile but I'm finally back with a new song cover!! It's my first time collaborating with my dearest Charmaine and I was so excited because it's also my first time using my new mic which is really awesome :D I haven't watch Fifty Shades Of Grey but I'm really loving the song "Love Me Like You Do" by Ellie Goulding! Hello February :)

Hello everyone, Hello February! Before I start off, I just want to say... I'm soo in love with this "cover photo" for this post!! Omg it's just so pretty and pleasing to the eyes, isn't it?? I'm craving for some macarons already! :p Photo credits to this link, do check it out as they have a lot more "Hello February" themed pictures that all look amazinggg! :) Well, I hope everyone had a great January! 

The start of the month was pretty bumpy (emotionally) for me, but I'm glad that things slowly fell into place the way it should be. It's always hard to break a bad habit -- that constant struggle between your brain and heart, which obviously, are moving in completely opposite directions. It's like... you know it's unhealthy, you know clearly that it's not right; yet you just can't stop it. But trust me, once you're able to finally break free from it, nothing else feels better than having that weight being taken off your shoulders or rather, your heart. Of course, it's not going to be an *snaps fingers* overnight thing, but you'll definitely get through it. Why? Because you've made the right decision for yourself. Because you deserve to be treated right. Because what's most important is you deserve so so much more than that. #thingsItellmyself

With that said, overall my January was still pretty good and I'm definitely looking forward to a fabulous February :) Furthermore, Chinese New Year is coming!! Oh yah, I recently put on some brown and shimmery gold eyeshadow makeup using my Naked Palette 1 and I'm absolutely in love with the colors!! So most likely, I'll be wearing that look for the coming cny hehe :D Will take a picture soon and post it on my Instagram (@shiiirleygoh)! 

I'm currently editing my January Favourites video, which should be up by next Monday! Can't wait :D

Christmas Potluck Party!!

Helloo! So as a promise (to myself) to start uploading more videos on my Youtube channel, I actually did a video on "12 Quick & Easy Holiday Potluck Ideas" for people who are thinking of having potluck/picnic to celebrate this festive season! To be very honest, although I've been making song covers on Youtube, I never really had the courage to speak infront of the camera which I then realized, is a VERY DIFFERENT experience compared to singing (like duhhh hahaha!) But overall, it was pretty fun as I'm also trying to widen my range of videos~ So please don't be too harsh on me, I'm still improving! ;)

December is definitely the month to feast and indulge without feeling too guilty because it's...December!! Lol. With the upcoming Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year Eve to welcome 2015; with it being the last month of holidays for students, and also the month which working adults are excitedly waiting for their bonuses etc, it's no doubt the month to celebrate!!

So last weekend, I had a really good time catching up with my poly clique (and their plus ones) over at Shux's new place. Omg their new house literally blew me away!! T_T It's soo gorgeous especially that patio -- perfect for an afternoon tea! Decked in blue and white for this Christmas, here are the photos! :D

And it's time for Secret Santa!!

Look at my smile hahaha. You have no idea how happy I was when I found that my Secret Santa is none other than Audrey!! Hahaha thanksss♡ 

And she fulfilled my wishlist of having a pretty table lamp for my white table!!! 

OMG I love it sooo much because it's really really pretty!! I've been trying to find a nice table lamp in Singapore but sadly I just couldn't find one. And guess what, this came all the way from Bangkok! Zee best! :D

Hii~ So I finallyyy managed to squeeze out some time to do a short recording with Melody when I was staying over at her place! To be honest, we didn't really know what songs to cover, so we decided to settle on one of our favourite songs by S.H.E - 热带雨林! Yes, it can be considered quite an old song but I guess some songs never grow old~ Although in my opinion, S.H.E is nowhere near the term "old"!! #abitdefensive #fangirlmode LOL :p

Oh and of course before the recording, when there's good room lighting with a full face makeup on, what else can two girls do?? #selfieselfieselfie hahaha! Oh and we were coincidentally decked in Xmas colors!

I guess sometimes in this fast-paced world that we are living in, we tend to miss out on the things that's happening around us. So in my latest video linked below (in which this time round, I decided to do something that is non-songcover related), I went to a place I really love (in Singapore) to remind myself and anyone out there to take some time out for yourself, have a "blue sky" time, daydream a little (anyways, it's free afterall), 'people-watch' if you like to get a feel for the beauty and rhythm of the community around us, do what you enjoy (or even do nothing at all), and know that it's perfectly fine to slow down once in awhile.

And yes, I'm back from my 10 days Taiwan trip with my brother! I had a pretty good time and it was also a good bonding time with my brother~ Apart from taking pictures, I've also been filming during my trip! So I'd be splitting the videos into a few parts if not it's gonna be too much to compile in just one video, and maybe a Taiwan Haul/August Favourites?? Haha stay tuned if you're interested to find out more especially if you're planning to head to Taiwan sometime later!

Helloo~ So last friday, I finally uploaded my song cover after a good 2 years hiatus! I am sincerely touched by all the support that was given to me, all those words of encouragement that just gives me more courage to do what I enjoy, so thank you guys! :)
