Vlog #2 - HOUSE PARTY WITH MUM!

Helloo! My new vlog is up! So we kinda had a house party in broad daylight... and yes, just the two of us hahaha. This is just one of those days where my mum and I have some fun (or maybe a little too much fun) while she's in a good mood haha :D

PS: You have to watch her kungfu part! It's just tooo funny!! I seriously can't get over it no matter how times I've watched it LOL. 

Oh and if you've watched my previous vlog, you'd know I have a very deeeep relationship with my mum's chicken wings and I was pretty bummed when I couldn't get to eat it that day because of my dinner plans. But this time round, she finally cooked it and ohmygoddd, it's really #WORLD'SBEST!! <3

I committed a sin. And I'm sorry.

I've been committing a deadly sin for quite awhile that is eating me up... The sin of envy. So when Michelle Phan posted this paragraph on her Facebook, I literally went "OMG I needed this!" And that's when I know it's about time I do something about my lack of self confidence and low self esteem :( 

I believe it's because of what I'm always seeing on social media everyday that makes me envy other girls so much for their good looks or life which in return, made me feel nothing but less beautiful (on a superficial level) which is absolutely terrible because I know I shouldn't be feeling this way :/ And now, this really needs to stop. Time is so precious that I should be making the best out of it instead of wasting it like this. 

To my beautiful self, I'm so sorry. I guess I'm still learning how to treat myself better and love me for who I am. Time to clear my head and attain some peace within.

Having trouble removing your mascara?? NOT ANYMORE! **Taiwan 1028 Visual Therapy -- Miracle Extension Waterproof Mascara**

Hellooo! Ok so we all know how mascara kinda complete one's eye makeup, and I'm sure there are many brands out there that can help you achieve that falsies effect with beautiful long lashes~ But today, I'd like to touch on the 2 things that can make or break one's mascara experience... 

*APPLICATION*  VS  *REMOVAL*

Application is pretty straightforward, you can easily do a YouTube search and there will be tons of makeup tutorials guiding you how to apply mascara. So today's post will not focus that much on the application but more on the most dreaded part (at least for me) -- THE REMOVAL.  

I used to own a few "highly raved" mascaras from Maybelline but it really sucks when the mascaras ended up being so hard to remove! I even went to buy a pure eye makeup removal solution but it still didn't work out for me... Since then, I stopped putting on mascara for fear that my real lashes will fall out together with the mascara coats during the process of removing them! (FYI, I haven't worn mascara for YEARS, so you can imagine how serious I am about that statement lol)

After sooo many years, I can finally say that I found *THE ONE* that is not only waterproof but REALLY EASY TO REMOVE SIMPLY WITH WARM WATER!! Of course, initially I had my doubts whether it really works or not but turns out... it truly works! So check out the pictures below as I test out how AMAZING this mascara is! :D #notsponsoredyeah

Step 1: Apply 1 coat of Miracle Mascara

Step 2: Apply 1 coat of Miracle Fibre Extender 

Step 3: Apply 1 more coat of Miracle Mascara to "lock the fibre" (important step)

This shot was taken after having the mascara on for about 8-9 hours! It's really waterproof, doesn't smudge, and I was able to achieve thicker & fuller looking lashes (as seen on the first picture of this post too)! If you want an even longer lashes, just repeat step 2 and 3 until you're happy! ;)

Now onto the most important part - The Removal Test!!

I soaked the cotton pad with warm water and leave it on my eye for about 10-20 seconds.

This was what came off after my first wipe! Then I used the other half of the cotton pad that's clean and did a second wipe!

Just 2 wipes with warm water and the mascara is gone! So amazing, right?? :D Then I proceeded to do my usual makeup removal routine to clean off the eyeshadow and everything else that's on my face.

What I love most is how gentle and fast the removing process is as compared to my past experiences with other brands!

This mascara is also highly raved in Taiwan's beauty variety shows!

I bought this mascara set for around $24 or $26 from Watsons when it was on sale ;) The usual price is about $35 if I'm not wrong. But anyways, 1028 Singapore is also on Qoo10 if you prefer to purchase it online! I hope you enjoy this review! :)

BEST BLACKHEAD REMOVAL MASK EVER! *My Scheming Blackhead Removal Carbon Mask*!

Helloo! So recently, I was very bothered by my "strawberry nose" and was frantically looking for something that can help me get rid of those blackheads and minimize the pores on my nose at the same time! I'm sure we all want a product THAT WORKS (duh~ lol) which is why I'm very excited that I can finally get down to blogging about this product because...

IT FREAKING WORKS!! 

NOTE: Despite knowing how the mask works from online videos etc, I STILL FAILED ON MY FIRST ATTEMPT. But the 2nd attempt was a success so I'm gonna give you some valuable tips which will be highlighted in red! Just take note so that you won't end up wasting your product! ;)

Get ready for the 3 simple steps that will change your life! :D

Me and my skin situation :/

STEP 1: Deep Pore Demineralized Water / Deep Pore Sebum Softener 

WHAT IT DOES: Penetrates pores deeply to quickly dissolve accumulated oil to promote normal metabolism of skin keratin and recuperation of skin.

DIRECTION FOR USE: After facial cleansing, lightly squeeze the bottle to get 3-4 drops on your palm and then gently massage it on your nose. Leave the product on for about 1 minute then wash it off! (The washing off part is not stated on the box so a lot of people don't know about it. This is an important step so just take note!)

STEP 2: Blackhead Removal Activated Carbon Mask 

WHAT IT DOES: Natural active bamboo charcoal provides superior absorption capability and helps control oil secretion of skin to bring you a more translucent skin.

DIRECTION FOR USE: Do not dry your nose after washing off the softener, just let it stay wet! Then apply a thick layer of the mask on your nose and/or chin, especially the "moustache area & bottom of your nose" because afterwards you will be peeling the mask off starting from the bottom (not from the side)! Wait for 15-20 minutes or longer until it dries completely before peeling it off!

The mistake I made on my first attempt was applying too thin a layer because I wanted to "save" on the product which led to so much trouble during the tearing off process! That also means I ended up wasting the product instead of saving it :(( So just do it properly & apply a thick layer including your moustache area like how I did in the picture above! 

This is how it looks like after 30 minutes. Time to peel it off!

Remember to peel the mask off starting from the bottom! It will not work if you peel off from the side, trust me!

WARNING: NOW FOR THE GROSSEST (yet most satisfying) PART!
(Satisfying because it works!! hahaha)

EWW WHAT THE HELL?! Zoomed in and totally got the shock of my life OMG! LOL :X

I'm just really glad these shitsss got pulled out!

STEP 3: Skin Clarifying Pore Treatment Essence

WHAT IT DOES: Provides deep moisturizing and hydration to the skin with pore minimizing effect. Restores skin elasticity for a fuller, healthier and more radiant skin.

DIRECTION FOR USE: After removing the mask, apply 3-4 drops of the essence on your nose with gentle pats to effectively minimize skin pores for a healthier looking skin! 

I bought this mask set from Carousell app for $15 from the seller "diva.beauty"! The price included postage which makes it really convenient too! Otherwise, you can also search it online from Qoo10! Sometimes they have promos or time sales that you can take advantage of! Just make sure you read the reviews to see if the seller is trustable! :)

Anyways, I didn't take a "before and after shot" because obviously the results will not happen in just one attempt! I will try to use this product once or twice a week and definitely looking forward to see if my blackheads and pore situation gets better after 1-2 months! :D
