Are You Ready For Entrepreneurship?

Entrepreneurship; A word that usually makes people go "Wowww, I wish I could do that one day!" Honestly, who responded like that before? Haha I know I did especially when I was in constant contact with so many bosses during my previous job. Entrepreneurship is all about coming up with an idea and turning it into a profitable business. To some, it sounds very exciting. To others, it sounds way too far-fetched.

As we are growing up, we have different dreams and aspiration that pretty much changes all the time (which is perfectly fine by the way)~ When I was in secondary school, I wanted to be a singer. When I was in university, I wanted to open up a cafe. I always wanted to "start something" but never did. Maybe I wasn't sure if it's what I really want. Maybe I just wasn't ready. So the question is: Are you ready for entrepreneurship?

My answer is - You'll never be ready, you just have to do it. Being ready is like waiting for a perfect timing~ And we all know that there is truly no "right time" to do something. If you've set your mind, then just go for it! I've been learning so much over the past few weeks, and gotten so much help along the way which I'm very thankful for. What I wanted to do may sound easy, but the execution is so much more difficult. I had sooo much backend stuffs to learn and do, coming up with different strategies etc~ It's really not easy (and perhaps not what I expected when I first had that idea) but at the end, I never fail to get that sense of achievement when my work is accomplished.

It's just the first week and I already foresee different situations coming my way. BUT, I'm ready for it! Gonna give my best shot to make it work. I just need that breakthrough. JIAYOU TO MYSELF!!! Have a good weekend and thanks for reading! :)

Pink Dot Sg  |  Supporting the freedom to love ♡

Hello there! Hope everyone had a great weekend :) My weekend was pretty special as it's my very first time attending the Pink Dot event at Hong Lim Park last Saturday! If you don't know, Pink Dot is a non-profit movement started by a group of individuals who care deeply about the place LGBT Singaporeans call home. This event which has been ongoing for 7 years is for everyone, straight and gay, who support the belief that everyone deserves the freedom to love. Fyi, I'm straight and just wanted to show my fullest support to the LGBT community :)
The fastest melting candy floss everrr lol~
People from all walks of life :)
Selfie before the big moment!
Finally, that moment where more than 28,000 people came together to form Singapore's iconic symbol of exclusivity and diversity -- a giant human pink dot <3

I've heard stories of how people struggle with coming out because it is something that's not universally accepted. The fear they have inside is even worse especially when it comes to their parents. All I can say is that it's really not easy which is why I feel that the Pink Dot event is incredible because it truly gives hope, support and love to the LGBT community! I see the event as a way to celebrate their love, something that they can and should be proud of! If you were there, you would definitely understand what I felt. The love is real :)

Random Updates - Eyecandies, Career & WhatsApp Web!

Omggg hellooo..! Oh gosh I feel so bad that my little space is being neglected because I've just been super busy lately!! :( I can even see a few of my Europe travel blog drafts collecting dust already :( But I really needed to focus and dedicate my time to something extremely important which is happening in 2 weeks time!! Before you think further... Nope nope, it's nothing love-related haha. I'm currently enjoying singlehood except that my heart will flutter abit when those SEA Games athletes are competing *shy* I very long don't have eyecandies already you know~ But now got so many I also don't know how HAHAHA.. Pingpong lah (my favourite hehe), swimming lah, gymnastic lah but all so young T_T LOL okok change topic!

Anyways, right now my time is just spent on getting all the backend stuffs done before I officially launch that very important thing! It's about my career which I'm very excited yet nervous omg! Like I'll literally get butterflies in my stomach at the thought of it~ I'll not talk much about it yet, until I feel more "ready" to do so hahaha. At this point of time, I just wanna say I'm really thankful for all the help and support that I've been given by my friends and mum!! It's not going to be easy, but I'm gonna persevere my way through! JIAYOU TO MYSELF!! :D

Before I end this post, I want to share a super cool WhatsApp feature called the WHATSAPP WEB (sorry only for Android users)! I'm SO SLOW because it launched in August last year but if you know about it already, good for you! If you haven't heard about it and uses your laptop a lot like me, or you don't want to get caught using your phone in class or at work haha, this is for you! ;) Basically, it's a feature that allows you to send WhatsApp messages using your laptop! My phone is my biggest distraction while I'm doing work :/ So this is very helpful when I feel like putting my phone away, yet able to reply any incoming WhatsApp messages in another window whenever I want to! Why did I only start using this today omggg~ Ok nothing is ever too late, righttt? Haha *shakes head*

STEP 2: Open WhatsApp --> Menu --> Click on WhatsApp Web.
Just follow the simple instructions as per picture above.

STEP 3: Scan the QR code!
It will instantly connect to your laptop and now you're ready to use WhatsApp web!
SO SIMPLE, CONVENIENT AND AWESOME!
Make sure your phone is connected to wifi to reduce data usage! Ok till later! xx
