Date night with the race cars ;)

Hello! Oops, this post was supposed to come earlier but I was too caught up... playing my Sims 3 hahaha =x Well, because of the hype of the new Sims 4, it got me excited again so I'm having a good time with my sims before I officially start work next week! :D

So on the first day of F1 week, Aud had complimentary tix which allowed us to have a sneak peek of how the SingaporeGP will be run on the actual race days. There isn't much to do there, except queuing pretty long to get our airbrush tattoo and taking photos... until we missed the race track tour -.- But nvm as I was saying to console ourselves... It's just our normal road with more lighting and fences only la hor?? =x Only Gate 1 was opened for us, so here are the photos! 

Insane queue for these, but lucky we know how to entertain ourselves ;)

The end result! Niceee right? We were laughing so hard because it's just soo gay to do the same one but seriously, it's the nicest one among all! Lol~

So that's pretty much it! I've never been to the Singapore Grand Prix before, so it was nice to have some mini involvement and experience the F1 season, but of course without the main highlight which is the race car sound battles haha! Maybe next time? :)

The Refresh Button;

I think by now, all of us would've known that as we grow older, as we reach a certain stage in life, we will gradually forget those heartaches we used to feel, we will slowly realize that time actually does heal our wounds, and eventually we will just forget that someone who used to matter so, so much. 

Maybe one day you'll accidentally come across his/her name while you're scrolling your phone contacts or Facebook newsfeed; maybe you'll even bump into him/her on the streets when you least expect to; yet nothing that bad would actually happen to you. 

You'll see that your world will not come crashing down, and that you won't feel the heartburn you used to feel anymore. Of course, there might still be a few knots deep inside your heart, but it doesn't really matter as long as you continue smiling. Because with that smile, you know you are moving on and accepting a much better life for yourself.

You should be thankful it wasn't that someone, have a little faith that those pain were meant for something better. No doubt we all deserve to be treated the right way, but before that you have to first treat yourself right. Remember, there's only one you in this big big world, and if you don't start loving yourself, no one else would.

That's a reminder for you and me.

Hihi~ So after I started a part time coordinating job last week, it feels good to see income rolling in once again after a good break haha. But yea most likely I'll be starting a full time job soon! Before all that happens, it's actually nice having the luxury of time to have kopitiam brunches with my grandmother and relatives haha. So last Thursday, I finally get to satisfy my kueh chap cravings at Jurong West which was sooo good!

Then on Friday itself, I finally get to meet my university girls after quite a long while~ To me, it was one of those nights where we had a really good catch up to update about our life, and I'm glad to still have them whom I can turn to at the end of the day :)

I also tried Sangria for the night, which unfortunately isn't to my liking :x I still prefer the usual red wine instead~

And before the night ended, it was a joyyy bumping into Joy & Elaine! Hahaha ;)

If I were to say what's my greatest achievement for this week, it definitely has to be my intensive spring cleaning on Monday itself!! *gives myself a pat on the shoulder*

Dear Shirley, please do whatever you can to maintain this level of cleanliness and tidiness for as long as possibleee..!! :X

Goodbye, for good.

Recently, something happened. It was pretty upsetting yet ridiculous at the same time. I was erased. Completely. 

I'm not in a relationship now but then again, I do know one thing for sure. If two person are having trust issues specifically in the scenario when there's absolutely no one else being involved (meaning no third party), then the obvious issue here is no one else but the both of them. With that said, I just feel that wiping off my entire existence will not solve any of their trust issues, especially when I didn't do anything at all. I was quite upset and affected upon realizing that I've lost a friend, for good. Then I slowly figured out that what upset me the most is being misunderstood. 

But I guess sometimes, certain things will never be understood...

September Updates! Hair, food & my Korean lover.

Helloo! Wow, it's already been 2 weeks since I'm back from my trip.. Why do I feel like time just flew past without me realizing?! I feel like I've been a little busy, but then again, I don't exactly have anything ongoing to be really "busy" with.. Lol if you know what I meant :p 

 Can't remember when was the last time I cut my hair already and so...

Tadah! My new haircut! Received many different comments from different people hahaha. 各有各的美啦 ok? :P

Finally met up with May yesterday and it was a great catch up over anything and everything :D We ate at Namnam Noodle Bar at Plaza Singapura which is my first visit and I'm quite happy with their vietnamese lunch set! 

So cheap and good!

So besides cafe hopping or occasional shopping (yes I seriously meant occasional!), there will be those days where I'm just so lazy to head out and my all-time-favourite hobby that I can do all day long (if i have the luxury to) is just to watch drama shows and movies! Well, it may sound abit no life to you but to be honest, it's something I really really enjoy!! PPTV on my iPad, Funshion, Dailymotion, Kshowonline etc are probably the best places to be when I have nothing much to do, or you know those moments when you just want to escape reality for awhile by watching some random shows lol. So yes, I just completed a korean drama called Hotel King and omggg *entering the non-reality phase* I'm soo in love with Dong Wook! *blush* ^^

I'm not their fan but did read up on the sad news of the tragic accident of a korean group Ladies Code which led to 2 members passing away. They are only 21 and 23, which reminded me to appreciate everything I have now because you never know what's going to happen next. Here, I would just like to take this moment to give my respects to them and anyone out there who's going through a tough time. Rest in peace. #PrayForLadiesCode

Hello! After being back last Wednesday and done with all the unpacking, I managed to spend a couple of days editing the video for my Taiwan trip! As it was a 10 days trip covering Taichung, Cingjing, Hualien, and last but not least Taipei, I figured out it'd be better to split the video into 2 parts!
